The police over your way really do have a thing against motorists of all kinds but bikers in particular don't they?
They also have a lousy reputation in the media for being the very worst offenders in the areas they are supposed to be most active.
So, now they have superbikes? The way I see it is just so that some of the police force can join in the fun of racing throught the lanes.
Having a bike powerful and fast enough to chase offenders is not necessarily the answer to the problem, especially when those people will bend the rules to the max to get as much fun out of it as they can.

It is just more tax-payers' money being thrown at a minority for no obvious advantage - and that is not just a british issue, it happens the world over.

Suitable for the brits (whether the welsh like being part of Britain or not... they are, get used to it... look at the scottish... all that fighting, "You'll never take our freedom" blah blah, only to find they had the only available heir to the english throne... and guess what, Scotland becomes part of England again! I'm sure William Wallace would have been just chuffed at that outcome... so the Welsh can can it!) thread because it's just a little facet from the UK... and as a thread, it's not going to have much of a life... in my humble opinion... there is already a thread in existence that can deal with this little "slice of life" piece you've introduced... that enhances the existing thread, gives the subject a better context... and as it pertains to UK dwellers (tonne of people reading that, thinking, Wales? Where the f**k is that?)... All About the Brits!

Now... as I'm the only crankpot in the village...

I have never & will never decorate any room in magnolia or beige....but I know a lot of people who do-no idea why...I've always had the feeling that living in a bright 'happy' coloured room/house can only have a knock-on effect with whoever is in the room/house....you just cant be miserable when spending most your time in a zingy yellow room although migraines can sometimes be a problem!!!

I voted for the current government and all said & done none of the other parties are likely to do any better....they are all promises until the vote has been cast and then sit back and throw in for expenses for their latest £10,000 kitchen make-over!!!

Act happy in a Post Office.....???? What Post Office, they are almost all gone - an endangered species are British Post Offices!!

Talk about the weather....only thing to say about it is how hard it rained!!! Our weather is a one sided story these days!

All the others are SPOT ON though!!!!!

dont mean to be rude or owt but wales has its own assembly so does scotland so on and so forth...so in oz is it a multi community !!!
the aboriginies dont class them selves as a part of the oz way they are deemd outcast...racial tension etc..
catty ??? where you live is a beautiful country etc but the boundries must cause conflict at some point...all this shi*t because of a new thread...i cant really see the worry with posting a thread of new topic...or is it because the more threads that get posted (freedom of speech blah blah) the lesser ones get pushed further back ?...oh and btw why are you following my every post ??????????? i have the same right to post as everyone else ?

It is best for everyone concerned not to keep on posting numerous new threads yes so that other threads don't get lost in the dark hole of old posts....people get fed up of having too many new threads to read through if they happen to read each of the threads every time they visit the forum and last but not least, if someone keeps on abusing their ability to create a new thread for little reason other than to make a new thread for themselves, they could automatically lose the ability to create new threads.
Weighing up the options with the reason behind creating new threads rather than adding a post to a suitable already excisting thread I know which I'd rather go with.....but the choice is yours....(the down side to freedom of speech you could say)

And another one bites the dust!

To be fair I did not think apecar intended to "abuse his ability to start new threads".

I don't know for sure but my guess is that he had just came up with an issue which he thought others might wish to discuss - if you look at a lot of the motorcycle press you will see that this is quite an emotive issue generally.

It is not compulsory to join in all discussions on the forum and who is to say this may not have been a thread to attract a lot of input?

At least the poor guy is trying!

the word THREAD is used 9 times on this post !!!!! enought to make a small jumper .. we all have a freedom of speech (until the government says else wise ) theres a massive clique here 4 sure an im not willing to take part in it or be associated with it....so its a BYE BYE from me .........
