I just read a bunch of crap at motogp.com that really pissed me off.

What the hell is this? Where is the Valentino Rossi that would come back from 13th and win a race? where is the 7 time world champion? Where is the man who single handedly changed motorcycle racing forever? What happened to him? Where is the guy that Sete Gibernau said would "win or die"? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HIM? Im so furious right now i could fight someone.

Second, I think he's just being realistic (as much as it hurts me to say that)...with 85 points behind KC it would take a miracle to overtake him-not because Vale isn't capable of doing it, but cause Yamaha and Michelin aren't able to come close to Ducati. So it would take an enormous amount of bad luck for the Dukes to loose the championship.My hope right now is that Vale would be able to at least get some podiums in this season and keep the 2nd position in the WC standings.

If anyone can catch up he can,but it is a big ask.

^Yup sadly it's a very big ask . Don't see what Vale said as giving up - better for him to be realistic and concentrate his efforts on developing the bike for next year now.

Anyway we already have a thread on Vale and the World championship in the motogp room...
